Sandeigh Kennedy is a South Texas native whose creative practice spans large-format mixed media paintings, immersive installations, and music. Her work is rooted in themes of social justice, human connection, and community, unafraid to confront the beauty and the brutality in our shared stories.

Blurring the lines between disciplines, Sandeigh builds spaces—both physical and sonic—that invite reflection, conversation, and emotional honesty. Her large-scale paintings layer texture, color, and found materials to create pieces that are both visually arresting and narratively rich. Her installations transform everyday objects into charged symbols of memory and meaning, while her music weaves lyrical storytelling with a blend of tenderness and grit. Whether composing a song, painting a canvas taller than herself, or arranging hundreds of objects in a public square, she seeks to collapse the distance between artist and audience, between statistic and story.

Kennedy’s work has been exhibited in both local and nationally recognized venues, including her acclaimed Gun Violence Memorial series—ECHOES - a multimedia installation using personal objects to mark mass shootings across the U.S. - first installed in New Braunfels, Texas in 2019 and later reimagined for the Rothko Chapel in Houston in 2024. As a musician, she has written and produced multiple albums, with seven songs reaching the Top 40 on the Adult Alternative Commercial Radio charts in the U.S.
